Rex’s Pocket Flock · Privacy

Privacy policy

Effective October 25, 2026. Rex’s Pocket Flock is a game from Rex the Rooster. Its Android package and iPhone bundle identifier are com.rextherooster.littleroost; earlier builds used the name Little Roost.

This policy covers the Android game and the iPhone App Store edition, including automatic saves, optional Apple and Google account connections, and purchase recovery. The earlier Play Games and restore flow was introduced in version 0.4.106. The game removed its age question in version 0.4.102 and added Play Games connection in version 0.4.103. Older releases with an age question keep their earlier local-play restrictions until updated. Firebase Analytics collection has been disabled since version 0.4.98.

Local play and younger players

You can play without an account. Local progress, bird nicknames, in-game photos and device settings stay in the game’s device storage. The game no longer asks for an age or date of birth. Google manages the availability of Play Games profiles, including supervised accounts and any parental approvals it requires. Parents can manage their child’s Google account and Google Play purchase approvals through Google’s family controls. Apple manages Game Center profiles, Sign in with Apple, and family purchase approvals on iPhone.

Offline play does not upload your saved yard. When online, Android’s Play Games services may authenticate an available game profile automatically as described below. We do not run ads. Firebase Analytics collection is disabled. The game does not request advertising identifiers, precise location, contacts, camera access or access to your photo library. In-game photos are images made by the game.

Game accounts and cloud progress

On Android, the game attempts to connect an available Play Games profile automatically and can remember your selected Google game account. Connected progress saves and syncs automatically. On a new phone or an unassociated device, the game can load the selected account’s saved game after keeping a recovery copy of existing device progress. Separate balances and inventories are not merged. Unsent actions or conflicting saves can require review under Settings → Help → Missing progress or items. You can play locally without an account and use Settings → Help → Choose Google account to connect or choose the account you want to play.

On iPhone, the App Store edition can connect an available Game Center profile automatically. You can also choose Sign in with Apple or Google when connecting or recovering an account. The game remembers the selected account and syncs connected progress in the background. Platform sign-in can require your approval or confirmation. You can play on the device without connecting a cloud account.

Game Center provides player identifiers and public game-profile information. Sign in with Apple provides an app-specific account identifier and may provide a name and email address, including an Apple private-relay address. Firebase Authentication processes the information supplied by the sign-in provider. We do not receive your Apple password.

We use Firebase Authentication to verify the platform credential and our game service to keep your internal game-account identifier, progress and purchase records together. Play Games provides a game-profile identifier and public gamer information, such as the name shown in the game. The game’s Play Games connection does not request your email address or extra email/profile permissions. Our active game database no longer stores email addresses or their verification status. We do not receive your Google password.

Google account choice and recovery, including older Google-linked accounts, remain available. Firebase may retain the email and basic Google profile information associated with Google sign-in, including a profile-image URL. The game can display the selected Google email to help you identify the right account; this does not add email fields to our active game database. Encrypted historical game-service backups may retain earlier email fields until handled under our backup and deletion procedures. If you contact support by email, we receive the information you send us.

Cloud progress includes your saved yard, inventory, visits, rewards, virtual currency and game actions needed to keep progress consistent across devices. Starting with version 0.4.113, new cloud backups exclude custom chicken nicknames and custom photo labels. These names remain on your phone; another phone keeps its own names. Earlier cloud saves may still contain names uploaded by older versions. Account identifiers and saved progress are data processed for these online features, even though no email is needed for a Play Games account. In-game photo image files remain on the device.

Google Play handles Android payments and Apple handles App Store payments. We process product identifiers, Google purchase tokens, store transaction or order identifiers, opaque account bindings, purchase and refund status, and records of virtual gold delivery to verify purchases, prevent duplicate delivery and handle refunds. We do not receive your full payment-card details.

Purchase-service data

Starting with version 0.4.113, checkout uses the official Unity In-App Purchasing 5.3.1 package with Google Play or the Apple App Store. This build omits the separate Unity IAP 5.4 Insights reporting path, and Firebase Analytics remains disabled. We still process the account-bound purchase and delivery records described above. The purchase SDK is used for purchase and order recovery in a linked, trusted cloud yard. A Play Games connection does not itself authorize a charge; the selected app store handles payment confirmation and family purchase approvals. Completed Apple orders are verified with Apple before gold is credited; repeated delivery checks do not grant the same order twice.

Earlier versions using Unity IAP 5.4 may have sent installation and session identifiers, device and country information, transaction information and diagnostics to Unity’s purchase service. Unity describes its processing in its IAP privacy information, including 90-day service logs and transaction records retained until a deletion request, subject to applicable obligations. For historical records processed on our behalf, we arrange provider follow-up for verified deletion requests. Independent provider records remain subject to that provider’s policy.

Service and security data

Online requests disclose information such as an IP address, request time and client information to the services receiving them. Firebase and our hosting provider process service and security information to operate authentication, deliver requests and prevent abuse. Visiting this website or contacting support is separate from offline play.

We use data to provide the features you choose, keep saves and purchases recoverable, answer support requests and protect the service. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising. Service providers process information for these purposes. Data may also be disclosed when necessary to comply with law or protect users and the service. Online connections use HTTPS.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep data for the feature or support purpose described here and apply the following schedule. These rules also apply to younger players. Device saves remain under your control until you edit them or remove the app’s stored data; operating-system backups have their own settings.

In the iPhone App Store edition, Settings → Privacy → Delete cloud account lets you review and confirm deletion inside the game. The app may ask you to confirm the original sign-in, and revokes Sign in with Apple authorization when applicable. Accepted in-app requests normally complete within 7 days; ownership-verified support requests target completion within 30 days. We delete playable cloud progress and sign-in links, arrange required provider cleanup, and reapply recorded deletions before reopening a restored database. See the account deletion page. Deleting a Pocket Flock account does not delete your Apple or Google account, or the app store’s own transaction records.

Contact and choices

A parent or guardian may contact us about a child’s account or information. For access, correction, deletion or privacy questions, email rastudios.play@gmail.com with “Pocket Flock privacy” in the subject. Never send a password or payment-card number. If you believe a child’s information reached an online account, contact us so we can investigate and arrange deletion.

Material changes to this policy will be reflected here with a new effective date. Optional services may have their own privacy terms, including Apple’s privacy policy, Firebase’s privacy information and Google’s privacy policy.
